Brian Mitchell began his computing career as an independent programmer. His niche in this area was solidified between 1984 and 1985 when several of his program submissions to the Toronto Pet User Group (then the largest computer group in North America) found their place among "Best of the Year".
His career continued to grow when he was hired by a local company for computer systems analysis while attending courses in Toronto and Ottawa. After a few years he was promoted to Training Co-ordinator. During this time Brian wrote several computer instruction programs (curriculum) which were funded by the Federal Government under the Canadian Jobs Strategy Program. The success rate among its participants was unprecedented.
Many students are now employed, in the computer field, in areas from Queens University, Kingston to some of the highest profile companies in the Silicon Valley, as well as locally.
Since 1990 Brian has been at the helm of his own company which provides computer systems analysis, training and support for a wide range of companies, from multinationals like Black & Decker to newspapers like the Recorder & Times, schools, printing companies and the individual computer enthusiast.
The ability to understand his clients needs and provide solutions, has been his hallmark and path to continued growth.
A company purchases a block of time, in hours, payable in advance. Client support and related charges are logged against the agreement. A log detailing current usage and remaining log time are forwarded with your monthly newsletter. Each support agreement is valid for a period of 18 months or until the pre-paid hours are exhausted. At the expiry of the agreement, an agreement of same time and conditions will be charged automatically, unless otherwise specified. The pre-paid hourly rate varies according to the number of hours paid for in advance. The greater the number of hours the lower the hourly rate.
